I completely agree with you.
And I'm a 'white'.
A European.
An Italian.
A great Italian journalist, writer, traveller and orientalia scholar,
Feredico Rampini, living mostly in either India or China and Japan, recently
wrote 'La speranza indiana' ('The Indian hope') I've still to read, but
which I'll read very soon.
I'm tackling Hindi and some other India's official languages (18? 19?) soon,
at present I can comunitcate in standard English.
I know that India(ns) has/have still to face enormous problems.
But who's REALLY free from them?
And, ever since 1947, so for 61 years, few and many, it depends from which
point of view one considers the matter, has been the biggest democracy, and
the biggest of the three Asian democracies, in the world.
And has/have the most ancient culture in the world, more than China and
Egypt (and Italy...)
